We want to track the places we visit but in the process I hope we do not offend folks from particular lands.  I am trying to avoid calling this list of countries as this gets into politics which is not part of this blog.   Two Fish focuses on meeting nice hosts from places around the world.

Here are some wiki facts as of 2013:

UN Members   193  (missing Vatican and other places)

USA recognizes 195  (missing plenty of countries, Taiwan.  Also Bermuda and Puerto Rico are also missing on this list)

Since we are free from politics we just have a list of places.   Some Islands are parts of other countries but they are on this list (i.e. British Virgin Islands).   Two Fish counts these Islands since it will be a new landfall.   We are not very scientific. If this bothers you drop us a line and we will add your spot or add a caveat.   We are not looking for trouble just to track our travel milestones.   By the way, when it came to adding islands we were biased to warms spots as Two Fish will not be exploring the polar regions.
