To send a 160 character note to the crew while we are at sea, click this link and the Delorme map service will appear. If you click on the boat icon on the new map page, you can drop the crew a short note. We are eager to hear from you, but no spam please as the satellite company charges us by the message. When we are at a dock, it is better to email us at our normal address.
Where is Two Fish?
You can follow our track live on this page. There is a little cell phone sized device that sends its GPS coordinates to satellites floating miles above the boat. The satellites then beam the data across the oceans and eventually place it on a land based server. Our map program grabs the data from the server and then displays on the map below. You can imagine this system has a few hiccups, so don't panic if we go offline. When we are at anchor the device will be turned off to save power. But we will leave a marker of our last known position.
As a bonus, the system lets us send short tweets updating our fans of our progress during a trip. You can see the tweets below and on the front page.
